The island of Socotra is a tiny dot on the map, where the Arabian Sea meets the Indian Ocean. A mysterious, mountainous land, with pristine beaches, dense forests and deep canyons, shipwrecks, bustling fishing villages, and some of the most unique and unusual plant and animal life found anywhere on the planet.

Algeria is a country of striking contrasts, from the vast Saharan landscapes around Djanet — with Tikobawin’s arches and the lush Iherir oasis — to the Mediterranean energy of Algiers. This adventure starts in Algeria’s capital, exploring the coastal ruins of Tipasa, Constantine’s dramatic bridges and ravines, and the Roman city of Djémila. From there, we will fly south, deep into the Sahara, where you’ll wander through rock gardens, towering pillars and arches of Tikobawin, and the cool canyon pools and lush gueltas, accompannied by warm Tuareg hosts.

  • This adventure blends the wild beauty of the Sahara with Algeria’s most iconic historic modern and ancient cities. Discover the country’s modern capital, Algiers, the coastal Roman ruins of Tipasa, wander Constantine’s dramatic bridge-linked ravines, and finish in the highland Roman city of Djémila. From there, our journey takes us south to explore Djanet’s canyons, oases, ancient rock art and star-filled desert nights.

Gilgit-Baltistan, tucked high in northern Pakistan, is a land of staggering beauty where the world’s greatest mountain ranges: the Karakoram, Himalaya, and Hindu Kush meet. Glacial rivers carve through deep valleys, villages cling to terraced hillsides, and turquoise lakes mirror snow-capped peaks. Despite its rugged remoteness, the region remains warm and welcoming, offering travellers a glimpse of a culture shaped by centuries of isolation and breathtaking natural grandeur.

  • Explore Gilgit-Baltistan, where alpine meadows bloom beneath the world’s highest peaks, turquoise lakes shimmer beneath glaciers, and mountain villages offer warmth and tea to weary travelers. Next travel south to o the Salt Range, where ancient temples perch on weathered cliffs above glittering salt lakes, before ending in Lahore, wandering through its Mughal gardens, bustling bazaars, and centuries-old mosques steeped in art and story.

southern madagascar

Madagascar blends ecological wonder with cultural depth, offering an experience that feels both timeless and extraordinary. As the world’s fourth-largest island, it showcases dramatic contrasts—from sculpted limestone forests, high granite peaks, and ancient baobab avenues to tranquil lagoons and coral-rich coastlines. Its remarkable biodiversity, including many species found nowhere else on the planet, makes it a living laboratory of evolution.

  • A journey through southern Madagascar — from the central highlands to the Mozambique Channel.

    Beginning in Antananarivo, the itinerary moves by private charter to the granite peaks of Andringitra National Park for multi-day trekking across high plateaus and the summit of Pic Boby. From there, we travel south through lemur-rich plains to the sandstone canyons and natural pools of Isalo National Park, ending on the white-sand shores of Anakao.
